First-Ever Softball Gold Glove Winner

A.J. Andrews is an LSU All-American, All-SEC and All-Region centerfielder. A.J. was the 7th draft pick in the 2015 National Professional Fastpitch draft to the Chicago Bandits, and was the very first woman to win a Rawlings Gold Glove in the 59 year history of the award in 2016. As a professional softball players A.J. also won the Spikes award for most stolen bases as well as All-NPF honors for her outstanding performance on the field. Due to her tremendous success and drive to level the playing field for women sports, A.J. was the first softball player in 10 years to be featured in the ESPN the Magazine Body Issue.
